Electrical Sub-Contractors
The role
We are currently recruiting for several electricians to work as sub-contractors on a containment project, starting in October/November 2023.
Location
Tewkesbury
Project duration
The project is estimated to take 2 years to complete.
Experience required
You should have at least 5 years of experience and be familiar with installing metal conduit and containment on large electrical projects.

Trainee Service Engineers
Salary: £24k plus, depending on experience

The Role
KIS Fire & Security are currently looking for several individuals to join the company as Trainee Service Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
The role of a Trainee Service Engineer is very varied. Daily tasks will include a mixture of both business deliverables and personal development. Whilst not exhaustive, this involves:
- Visiting clients to complete planned service works.
- Reporting on improvements required at clients’ premises.
- Building relationships with peers and clients.
- Gaining knowledge on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access controls.
- Attending training courses to increase knowledge and legislation updates.
About You
As a trainee, whilst previous experience in a similar industry/role would be an advantage, it is not essential. At KIS Fire & Security we pride ourselves on our culture and client-focused approach, so what matters most to us is your attitude and presentation. We are therefore looking for people who:

Reactive Engineer – Fire and Security
£ Very competitive within the industry
We are seeking a Reactive Engineer to help us carry out reactive maintenance of all types of Fire and Security Systems. Our client base is predominately commercial with varying sized premises. You will not be required to know every aspect of all the disciplines listed below but some experience is required and a broad knowledge is preferred. Further training will be provided to tailor your skills to our requirements.
Systems/Disciplines:
Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Warden Call, Automated doors, Barriers and Gates, Emergency Lighting, Fire Extinguishers.
Manufacturers (Some knowledge preferred):
Gent, SMS, Advanced, Hochiki, Kentech, Texecom, Galaxy, Hikvision, Avigilon, Paxton, Grosvenor, Tynetech, Came
All employees are security screened to BS7858:2019 and must be able to drive.

We are looking for an engineer to carry out weekly planned maintenance/tests of emergency systems such as Fire alarms, Warden Call and Emergency lights. This is a field based role working on several of our clients premises within Bristol. No experience is required as full training will be provided.
