Automatic Doors and Gates Engineer

£12-16/ hour plus overtime

We are looking for an experienced Doors and Gates Engineer to help us carry out installation and reactive maintenance of automatic doors, gates and barriers. This role is expected to predominantly cover a 50 mile radius of Bristol.

There will also be the opportunity to expand your knowledge into other Fire and Security disciplines.

Experience is essential.

Reactive Engineer – Fire and Security

£12-16/ hour plus overtime

We are seeking a Reactive Engineer to help us carry out reactive maintenance of all types of Fire and Security Systems. Our client base is predominately commercial with varying sized premises. You will not be required to know every aspect of all the disciplines listed below but some experience is required and a broad knowledge is preferred. Further training will be provided to tailor your skills to our requirements.

Systems/Disciplines:

Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Warden Call, Automated doors, Barriers and Gates, Emergency Lighting, Fire Extinguishers.

Manufacturers (Some knowledge preferred):

Gent, SMS, Advanced, Hochiki, Kentech, Texecom, Galaxy, Hikvision, Avigilon, Paxton, Grosvenor, Tynetech, Came

All employees are security screened to BS7858:2019 and must be able to drive.

Fire and Security Maintenance Engineer

£12-15/ hour plus overtime

We are looking for an engineer to carry out weekly planned maintenance/tests of emergency systems such as Fire alarms, Warden Call and Emergency lights. This is a field based role working on several of our clients premises within Bristol. No experience is required as full training will be provided.

Candidate requirements:

  • Punctual
  • Reliable
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Good communication skills

Fire Extinguisher Team Leader

Wage dependent on experience. Basic pay plus commission bonuses.

We are looking for an experienced individual to lead a small team of engineers. This position would suit a fire extinguisher engineer with an appetite to broaden their skills and increase responsibility or a team leader from another sector looking to retrain within the fire extinguisher industry.

Fire extinguishers are a fast growth area of our business, and so we require a team leader to structure this growth and develop the area further. This role is intended to be a pathway to a management position within the business.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients and fulfil requirements
  • Provide quotations for installations and service requirements
  • Plan engineers schedules
  • Precure and order stocks
  • Carry out installations and planned maintenance
  • Manage compliance and accreditation requirements

Trainee Helpdesk Coordinator

Wage dependent on experience.

We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and assist in all aspects of the helpdesk processes. The helpdesk of our business is a vital link to our clients requirements. The successful candidate will be a good communicator with a focus on great customer relations. Our helpdesk is a friendly team of people working within our Brislington office, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Experience is not essential, but would be an advantage. Full training will be provided.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Making and receiving phone calls from clients
  • Answering emailed queries
  • Organising field based engineer logistics
  • Precuring and ordering spares
